My start in photography came from tragedy, but it was a tragedy that set the course of my life in a new direction. In 2005 I was in a motorcycle accident that left me unable to walk for nine months. During that time I spent most of my days on the internet looking at anything that would keep me away from boredom. I fell into a loop of looking at photos and tutorials on how the photos were created which got me excited and into the idea of taking photos and making a living at it. Automobiles were my choice of subject until I photographed my first model. There is something about working with a model or team towards a common goal of beautiful photos that appeals to me. Next came formal training at the Art Institute of California from which I graduated from in March of 2011.
